"Our beagle has been on Blue Chicken & Brown Rice for only about 2 weeks now and I've noticed his snoring has stopped. He used to snore often and VERY loudly. "I just wanted to tell your company what a huge fan our family is of your product...Our Bichon Frise is very sensitive to foods (for the first 1.5 years of his life we spent hundreds of dollars at the vet for skin problems) and our veterinarian recommended putting him on a prescription diet with all natural products and more uncommon ingredients such as fish potatoes, Venice ect..he said we either buy the outrageously expensive prescription formula or make dog food from scratch with fresh ingredients from the butcher shop...neither of those options were too appealing to us. "My name is Grover and I want to thank you for making such a great dog food. I was adopted last month from my puppy raiser (I was supposed to be a guide dog but they found out I have a damaged elbow joint – they think I was stepped on when I was a week old). Anyway – my "Mom" is trying to keep me lean and healthy because she knows I will have to have my leg amputated soon. I am a Labrador and I just LOVE food so she said she wanted a food that satisfied me and she can use for training so every day I get Blue puppy in the morning and evening and then she stuffs a Kong with Blue food and then puts peanut butter on top and freezes it! "My dog had to have a few of his teeth removed last week so I had to switch him to wet food while his gums healed up. The lady working at my local PetCo recommended your dog food so I bought a few cans. I've been giving it to both of my dogs for the past week mixing it with dry food for my dog that didn't have to have teeth removed. I have to tell you that the two of them whip themselves into an absolute frenzy when I get that can out of the cupboard. It is the strangest thing I've ever seen. "I cannot thank you enough for making such a quality dog food. We found out in December of 2007 that our 8 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, Magee, had developed a grade 2 heart murmur. We took her to a cardiologist and found through an ultrasound that one of her valves appeared to be partially blocked, from what they think had been inherited. We were devastated and were determined to keep her healthy. I did all my research on alternative dog food, talked with your Blue Buffalo representative at our local Petsmart, and immediately switched her to your senior dog food. I mix it with your organic food and she loves it! I just took her back to the vet to have her blood pressure checked, and it had dropped 10 points from December! Also, her coat has dramatically improved and she looks great. I was thrilled and can only attribute the positive news to your food. We used to feed her, what I found to be absolute junk, Science Diet, because the vet recommended it to us, and Milkbone dog treats. I now make my own dog treats, but also buy your health bars as well and she loves them."

"I have two cats Phoebe and Sophia, both from shelters. When I recently adopted Sophia, whom the vet guesses is about three years old, we found her to have serious health problems. She was severely underweight, you could wrap your thumb and forefinger around her back and touch them together under her stomach, and the vet thinks she was pregnant or nursing most of her three years, on top of her being underweight. Her coat was sparse and scraggly and she threw up her Iams with in an hour or two of eating every time. We deduced she had food allergies and switched her to Blue. Poor Baby!! She probably has never had food that didn't make her sick her whole life, and she was a Momma Cat too!! She has not thrown up since, her coat has grown back in and she gained 50% of her body weight. "Ripped from the headlines – "Blue Buffalo saves two SAR K–9s" – not really that dramatic, but have to tell you that the switch I made just over 2 months ago from a popular top end a.k.a. pricey, dog food to Blue's Fish and Sweet potato kibble has made the world of difference in the health, recovery time and energy level of my two Canine partners – my Flat coated retriever Search and Rescue dogs. The youngest (age 2) Asa, had suddenly begun vomiting up after meals, loose stools , and low energy. I actually had to stop training him for a week while I had blood tests run and put him on a bland diet. When tests and an X-ray showed nothing causative for his ills, I switched to Blue at the suggestion of a colleague and WOW - within two feedings he was rebounding. If it hadn't happened to, me I would have been skeptical. My older dog – Toby – SAR Wilderness, Cadaver and Water Rescue certified is flourishing on Blue, his coat even in Spring Shed season is beautiful and shiny and his energy level (age 6) is wonderful (he worked 8 hours in rugged western MA terrain a few weeks ago and his battery kept humming.) Again–Thank you for a wonderful, dependable product – it works so my K–9s can do their job!"

"You have the greatest dog food ever! My Basset Hound Hildi (now 5 years old) suffered from terrible grass allergies every spring. Each year it got worse and lasted longer. She was totally miserable. She could not stop scratching and licking her belly. After doing some research, I realized that she could be having some nutritional deficiencies. I went to PetSmart and started reading all of the labels and Blue was the best by far. After switching her to the Chicken and Rice formula, she cleared up within two weeks! That was last year. "Hi, Barney has been suffering from skin allergies since early adulthood and we have tried many medications and medicated shampoos to no avail. Barney continued to scratch and have periodic Hot Spots as a result which required a visit to the vet for salve to heal his wounds. We switched his diet to Blue wet and dry foods and have had great results. Barney's scratching is greatly reduced and his coat is much fuller and has a nice shine. I just was reading about the shampoos and will purchase some as part of his treatment. Blue is a wonderful natural line of dog and cat foods! "Blue dog food is a life saver! 3 nights ago my husband and I took our 6 month old Border collie Buddy into the emergency vet hospital because he was very sick, wasn't eating and was sleeping all day. We later found out that our little boy was allergic to the dog food that he currently was on. On our way home we stopped by Petsmart and a Blue employee saw me teary eyed and asked what was wrong. I finally broke down and told her that our dog buddy was allergic to (Iams smart puppy.) She recommended Blue puppy. My husband and I bought a bag and fed it to our dog that same night. Then next morning our dog buddy was jumping around, wagging his tail and causing the typical border collie mischief. My husband and I were SO happy, that I wanted to go back and hug the Blue dog food employee. Our dog buddy has been on the diet for 3 days and shows no signs of being the very sick puppy he was 3 days ago. Blue dog food was worth every dollar I spent. I am so happy with the product that I will tell everyone about it .I Love the Blue pet food so much that I bought some Blue food for out 2 cats. Now our whole family will forever be a Blue's Family. "I want to personally thank you for your wonderful products. I know they have improved the health of my little boy, Buddy. Buddy is a 2 yr tabby who became very ill in the spring of 2007. I was just investigating the pet food recall and researching what food I should be feeding him. I discovered Spa Select in the store and was quite impressed. Fortunately, his illness was not food related. Buddy fought a viral infection for over 3 months. He was anorexic, photophobic, had draining, bleeding eyes and I was told to expect to lose him. He turned a major corner last July. As soon as he was well, I was able to introduce your food. Sadly, during his illness, he was very picky and I fed him what he wanted, which had a lot of grain in it. As soon as I was confident he would be o.k. to simply nibble, I switched back to your food. Then, in November, your Wilderness was on the shelf. He loves it. He runs to his bowl when he hears the bag opening. Buddy has become a very beautiful, healthy boy. He will be 3 yrs old in August. I truly believe your products have turned his life around. I was told he will be ill forever. He has great muscle mass, a beautiful coat and great energy!"
